How We See Collaboration

Collaboration Meetings

We believe that collaboration is the key to building strong, healthy communities and addressing any gaps, needs, or barriers. When input is received from all community partners, it results in positive, productive communication needed for planning and problem solving.

Each agency or organization serves a need in the community and acts as a resource not only to the residents, but to other entities.  Working together to provide wrap-around services to families and individuals builds a safety net for those who receive services or support.  It also helps each entity do their job better.

To effectively measure impact, data from the various strategies is collected and analyzed by the Munroe Myer Institute at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.  From there, Families 1st Partnership workgroups and the Advisory Board consider the results and determine strategies' usefulness or where implementation changes may be needed to improve a strategy's effectiveness.
